Without A Sound is here!

I am so excited to introduce you to my next poetry book, Without A Sound.  It has literally been years in the making!  I have so many people to thank for the completion of this book.  Hopefully this momentum will keep things moving.

Here is a little excerpt from Without A Sound:

Blue Candle 

I watched a candle today,

a blue candle with its tall orange flame.

I watched the wax collect at the top

and waited for the first drop of hot, blueness

to escape down the side of the cylinder,

only to get cold and harden again.

It was a very romantic thing,

a very warm, yet sad feeling- 

peace, tranquility, comfort.

I was tempted to bump the candle, to help it get started

but I just sat there and watched and waited,

learning that certain things take time.
